Simplify your PCB layout and drastically reduce your component count with the DTC143ZET1G "digital" NPN transistor. Normally, when you want to use a microcontroller (like an Arduino, ESP32, or STM32) to switch a small load using a standard bipolar transistor, you must add external base resistors to limit the current and pull down the gate. This pre-biased transistor solves that problem by integrating a 4.7kΩ series base resistor (R1) and a 47kΩ base-emitter pull-down resistor (R2) directly inside the microscopic silicon package.
Capable of switching up to 100mA at 50V, it is the perfect space-saving solution for driving status LEDs, switching small relays, triggering optocouplers, or sending logic signals in densely packed DIY electronics. By eliminating the need for two external resistors per switching channel, the DTC143ZET1G is an absolute lifesaver when designing custom flight controllers, compact IoT sensor nodes, and micro-robotics where every millimeter of PCB space matters.
Key Features:
Built-in Bias Resistors: Integrated R1 (4.7kΩ) and R2 (47kΩ) eliminate the need for external resistors, saving precious board space and assembly time.
Microcontroller Direct-Drive: Can be driven directly by 3.3V and 5V GPIO pins without drawing excessive current from the processor.
Reliable Switching: The 50V and 100mA rating is more than enough for signaling, small indicator lights, and driving logic gates.
Ultra-Compact Footprint: Housed in a miniature surface-mount package, making it ideal for high-density, multi-channel switching arrays.
The build quality is top-notch, you can feel it the moment you take it out of the box. Definitely worth the money, highly recommend!
