Unlike traditional optical limit switches that can easily be blocked by dust, mud, or moisture, this magnetic sensor provides flawless contactless detection. Because it is "omnipolar," it responds to both the North and South poles of a magnet. This makes mounting and calibrating magnets on your custom CNC machines, drone retractable landing gears, or robotic arms incredibly easy, as you don’t have to worry about magnetic orientation.
Carrying the "Q1" designation, this Texas Instruments chip is strictly AEC-Q100 automotive-qualified. This means it offers bulletproof reliability, featuring built-in reverse battery protection and the ability to withstand severe voltage transients. Operating on a massive voltage range from 2.7V all the way up to 38V, it easily integrates directly into high-voltage systems (like 6S or 8S LiPo setups) without needing a dedicated step-down regulator. Housed in a standard SOT-23 package, it features an open-drain output that seamlessly interfaces with both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers.
