This highly efficient silicon boasts an ultra-low ON-resistance (RDS(on)) of just 2.6 mOhms, allowing huge amounts of continuous current to flow with minimal voltage drop. This means more power goes directly to your motors or electronics, and significantly less is wasted as heat.
Rated at 30V, it provides a safe overhead for 3S and 4S LiPo battery architectures (which reach up to 16.8V when fully charged) or standard 12V/24V industrial rails. It is housed in the industry-standard PowerDI5060-8 package (compatible with standard 5x6 mm SuperSO8 / TDSON-8 footprints), which features a massive exposed metal pad on the bottom. This allows for exceptional heat dissipation directly into the copper planes of your PCB, making it a favorite among makers designing lightweight, high-amperage custom power boards without bulky aluminum heatsinks.
