It continuously monitors the cell's voltage and current, immediately disconnecting the load or charger in the event of an over-charge (exceeding standard 4.2V limits), over-discharge, or short circuit.
Designed to pair perfectly with standard dual N-channel MOSFETs (such as the ubiquitous 8205A), the CM1010-A allows you to build an ultra-compact Battery Management System (BMS) that fits directly onto the terminals of a small battery. Housed in a miniature SOT23-6 package and drawing virtually zero standby current, it offers industrial-grade safety for your DIY electronics without draining your battery during long storage periods.
